The Qur’an Will Intercede for Its Reciters Whoever makes the Noble Qur’an a constant companion in this worldly life will not be forgotten by it on the Day of Resurrection. At that terrifying moment of the Hereafter, the Qur’an will stand by them and intercede on their behalf. It is narrated from Abu Umamah al-Bahili (RA) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: اقْرَؤُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شَفِيعًا لِأَصْحَابِهِ “Recite the Qur’an, for indeed it will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for those who were devoted to it.” — Sahih Muslim, Hadith 804 Each beneficiary will receive one high-quality printed copy of the Holy Qur’an along with a protective cover (Gilaf). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever provides ifṭār for a fasting person will have a reward equal to that of the fasting person, without any reduction in the reward of the one who fasted.” (Jāmiʿ at-Tirmidhī 807; Sunan Ibn Mājah 1446; Musnad Aḥmad 21168; Sunan ad-Dārimī 1702) One iftar can ease a long, tiring day of fasting.
